Information for Colleges / Departments / Units
Content in the Texas A&M Repository is typically arranged by college and department, called a community, and faculty members collections.
To get started, decide on:
- Content you would like to distribute widely and preserve over the long-term
- A contact person to work with the Texas A&M Repository coordinator to set up and run the Community
- The Community/Collection structure that is best for the college, department, or unit content
- Metadata (descriptive cataloging information) See Describing a Resource (Metadata).
- Individuals who will be allowed to submit materials
Information for Individuals
Please contact us and we will be happy to establish a collection for you in your department’s community, or can explore establishing a community if one does not yet exist.
